Starfield collectibles include skill magazines, snow globes, and special items like unique weapons. You can find them in various locations like specific buildings in major cities (e.g., The Lodge, The Emporium), unique POIs, and mission-related areas, with some collectibles requiring you to first read a specific book to find its associated item.

Skill magazines

These permanently grant a buff or perk and can be found in specific locations, often related to the skill they boost. 

  • Freestar Captain’s Log: Find in locations like the Deserted Mineral Plant (carry capacity) or Freestar Collective Consulate in Akila City (carry capacity).
  • Peak Performance: Look for these in places like the Laredo Firearms store in Akila City (Peak Performance 1) or inside the Akila City Prison (Peak Performance 4).
  • Grunt: Search in locations such as Outland in New Atlantis (Grunt 1) or CeltCorp in Neon (Grunt 8).

Snow globes

These are collectibles of landmarks from Earth and can often only be found after reading a specific book that creates a new quest marker.

  • London Shard Tower Snow Globe: Found in the Shard Tower on Earth after reading Oliver Twist, which can be bought from Sinclair’s Bookstore in Akila City.
  • New York Empire State Building Snow Globe: Located in the Empire State Building after reading Our Lost Heritage, which is on a desk in President Abello’s office in the Mast District of New Atlantis.
  • Shanghai Tower Snow Globe: Found in the Shanghai Tower after reading Essentials of Modern Macroeconomics, located in a classroom on the ECS Constant.

Unique and legendary items

These are powerful and unique items, often tied to specific quests. 

  • The Revenant: A powerful legendary variant of the MagShear found at the end of the Crimson Fleet questline during the “Eye of the Storm” mission in the control center of an abandoned Galbank ship, next to Jasper Crics’s body.
  • Unique UC Vanguard Spacesuit: During the “Hostile Intelligence” quest, you can get the legendary UC Vanguard spacesuit, helmet, and boost pack from a location shown on screen, and an agent gives you a unique micro gun.
  • Solomon Coe’s Copy Of Don Quixote: Found on The Fortuna during the mission “On The Run”.
  • Governor’s First Meeting Agenda: In Cora’s bedroom in The Lodge, New Atlantis.
